Dissemination and awareness raising strategy

Result-6 is connected to all project-specific objectives as it aims to raise awareness about the project and promote its results to relevant stakeholders and the wider public. It specifically focuses on increasing awareness among students, particularly women about sustainable blue careers.

The leader of Result-6 is Aegean Rebreath (AR) and the Result’s main tasks are:

  • Dissemination and Awareness Raising Strategy
  • Dissemination of communication materials & tools (Printed and digital materials, website and social media
  • Organization of dissemination events and presentation of the project in third party events
  • Organization of an international conference
  • Implementation of awareness raising campaigns

Core Deliverables

The core deliverables of this Result focus on the design of a comprehensive Dissemination and Awareness Raising Strategy, the presentation of the the visual identity of the project (logo and branded templates for electronic and printed materials) as well as the development and distribution of various communication tools, ike e-leaflets, banners, videos, and printed materials in EN, MY, and ID. In addition, the project Result foresees the development of a website and a dedicated LinkedIn page to inform the wider community. A number of dissemination events, awareness raising campaigns and an international conference at the end of the project, will be organised in order to raise awareness and promote the results of the project.

The document presents the “Communication, Dissemination, and Stakeholder Engagement” strategy for the SustainaBlue project, outlining a comprehensive framework and action plan. It follows the EU’s five-stage model for dissemination and focuses on setting clear communication goals, targeting specific audience groups, and ensuring coordinated efforts. The plan is designed to promote sustainable marine economies, spread knowledge and support environmental transitions.

A LinkedIn page for the SustainaBlue project has been developed to inform the broader professional community and stakeholders at both national and international levels about the initiative and its outcomes and to raise awareness about the vast opportunities available in sustainable blue careers, with a special focus on inspiring students.
