Development and Operation of regional Blue & Green Acceleration Platform

A Blue & Green Acceleration Platform will be developed to facilitate cooperation among HEIs, industry, local authorities, and other relevant stakeholders, aiming to support and promote green and blue growth at local, national and regional levels.

The Center for Social Innovation (CSI) will develop the platform while the Result’s main tasks are:

  • Development of the regional Blue & Green Acceleration Platform
  • Operation of the platform

Core Deliverables

The digital platform will enhance cooperation among HEIs, industry, local authorities, and stakeholders to promote green and blue growth. Key functionalities of the platform include, inter alia, a search tool, an interactive map, messaging system, news and events updates, user-generated content, online networking events, training library, and tools for placements/mobilities and e-mentoring. The platform will host numerous networking events, joint initiatives, and mentoring sessions and will be co-managed by the “Sustainable Blue Economy Centres.”
